Biography

Carlotta Marrucci is a professional editor with 10 years of experience. After a degree in "Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production" at the Iulm University in Milan with full marks, she attended a training course on documentary editing at the Ateliers Varan in Paris. She works mainly in the documentary field but she also had experiences in television and web contents. Some of her movies have been selected to international festivals, including Al Jazeera Film Festival, London Film Festival, Capetown Film Festival, Moscow International Film Festival and Cinema di Roma Film Festival. She has also worked on social projects in collaboration with organizations like Emergency, Oxfam and Legambiente. Her first editing work “In Utero Srebrenica” was nominated in 2014 for the David di Donatello award as best feature film documentary. "She was also nominated in 2019 for Best Film Editing during the Cinearti La Chioma di Berenice Prize with the movie "Le Metamorfosi”.
