GVC - Gruppo di Volontariato Civile

GVC is a non-governmental, secular and independent organization founded in Bologna (Italy) in 1971. We fight poverty and social inequality by working with individuals, communities, local authorities and governments, to ensure thousands of people access to clean water, food, health services, education and work. All of our projects are organized so that communities can find their own resources to become autonomous and independent. Alongside our international cooperation projects, we also carry out important work in education and awareness in Italy and Europe: we organize seminars, workshops for students and teachers, exhibits and the Terra di Tutti Film Festival.
