Teresa Sala

Teresa Sala was born in Milan in 1987. After taking a degree in Cultural Heritage she graduated at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Milano in filmmaking. He works between Milan and Bologna as a freelance director and filmmaker. Her poetics moves between the documentary and experimental cinema with a constant attraction for dance and performance. Her works have been selected in several international festivals. In 2013 she founded, together with Rita Maralla, Marsala, a cross-media artistic research project regarding the relationship between body, space and identity. In 2018 she was selected for the first phase of the Biennale College Program with a documentary project about gender identity.
