Biography

Luigi D'Alife was born in Crotone (KR) on 31/12/1986. In 2009 he founded in Turin "Outside - web tv Unconventional" by which to explore the "hidden" realities of society through a narrative and informal approach, particularly on issues such as the conditions of the refugees in the city of Turin and the construction of the line high speed railway in Val Susa. Over the years he made numerous Instant-video and reports on various topics such as the issue of refugees / migrants, borders, movements for environmental protection and the fight for the housing rights. He collaborates and has collaborated with several news agencies, newspapers and information sites such Ruptly TV (with whom he has published numerous war reporting), Rai News, DinamoPress, Il manifesto and Radio Onda D'Urto. It 'also editor of Radio Blackout Turin.

In the last two years he implements its activities by reporters and documentary deepening and getting passionate in particular to the Kurdish question. On several occasions traveling through the south-east of Turkey, Iraq and Syria, failing to document bombing of Turkey against the Kurdish town of Nusaybin and the liberation war against ISIS in northern Syria.

In September 2015 it is part of the first international delegation to enter into the city of Cizre in less than 48 hours before the end of the curfew. From the desire to tell this experience comes the short documentary "Cizre'de Katliam Var - The massacre of Cizre".
